Bindu Madhavi was born in Madanapalli. Her father is in the commercial tax department as an Assistant Commissioner. As a child she wanted to be an air hostess first, a pilot later and then a bar tender. But all these were passing wishes and she became a heroine. Completing her inter in Chennai, she pursued her degree in biotechnology. The actress always had an interest in cultural activities. Prizes came to her in lots. This drew her to start modeling for print ads. Initially, facing stiff resistance from her father, later it turned into encouragement. It was her work in Titan ad that caught Sekhar kamula’s attention and he decided to cast her in ‘Avakai Biryani’. That was Bindu’s Telugu debut which got her profound appreciation. Other movies are ‘Bumper Offer’, ‘Prathi Roju’, ‘Shoot’, ‘Om Shanthi’, ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna’ and ‘Partners’. ‘Geetanjali’ is her favourite film. She is proud of her eyes and dimples. She wants to carve a unique identity for herself that would one day turn her mom into her fan. She dreams of action movies with Hollywood heartthrob Angelina Jolie. Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan are her favourite heroes. Badminton and swimming are her hobbies. The lady is a regular gym goer.
